What a great year!
It is hard to believe my year as CREW East Bay President is at an end! 2022 has been so special to me, I have shared so many great times with our CREW East Bay members. I am so grateful for the opportunity to lead this amazing organization and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for all the work of our committee members, committee co-chairs, and Board of Directors. Your passion for our mission inspires me each day and pushes me to do more.
We started the year with a vision for CREW East Bay to Build Together and we have done just that. We have had fantastic programs, tours, built connections, done business together, and always had each other’s back. We have built relationships in a culture where diversity is celebrated, and all are welcome and heard.
We met the CREW Foundation Trifecta Challenge! Thank you to all who contributed to the CREW Network Foundation to support the advancement of women in commercial real estate to fund scholarships and industry research.
We launched the pilot of our first ever mentorship program. Keep an eye out to apply for next year’s program!
We completed the Girl Scouts Community Greenhouse, thanks to our generous donors, members, and the Holbrook GS Community Based Troops. Thank you Metcon for taking the lead and getting this project over the finish line.
We had great attendance at the CREW Network convention in Chicago with 1,400 CREW members from around the globe. CREW East Bay hosted a networking evening with the Silicon Valley and Sacramento chapters at the Spin Lounge.
I have loved every minute serving as your CREW East Bay President, and I am appreciative of the opportunity to lead such a great organization.
I now get to pass the baton to Malinder Bhan, my faithful partner for the past year. I know our organization will thrive and grow under the leadership of Malinder and our entire 2023 Board of Directors and Committee Co-chairs.
