Event discussions to include the following:
Understand why Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is not a second-class priority. DEI is a core leadership competency. We will unpack how 21st Century leaders are required to be competent with DEI matters and skills and what are the components and outcomes of DEI competencies.
Topics to be discussed include:
- Ability to influence others without having authority over them
- Emotional intelligence (including self-awareness)
- Communicating across styles and cultures
- Empathy creates inclusion, innovation, and loyalty
