Members Only Lunch and Learn sponsored by Bank of the West — Discover the Secrets of Financing Owner Occupied Commercial Property
Do you own your own company and would like to own your commercial real estate too? Do you work with clients who fit that description? If so, this Lunch & Learn is for you. Discover how to know if owning the real estate is the right choice and find out how to qualify for a loan. We will cover:
- Whether conventional or SBA financing is used, the underwriting approach will be similar and distinctly different than a leased investment financing. This session will show you the basics of how an owner-occupied financing is underwritten.
- Ever wonder how you analyze whether buying is more advantageous than leasing? An after-tax buy vs. lease analysis is required to truly understand the answer to this question. This workshop will go through an example of buy vs. lease analysis and the audience can participate in changing the assumptions to see how different variables affect the outcome.
