CREW East Bay - President's Message - May 2021
CREW East Bay Members,
I can’t believe we are halfway through the second quarter of the year. Talk about good news! Now that more people have been vaccinated, the CDC has just announced fully vaccinated people do not have to wear masks or social distance, the momentum in commercial real estate should continue to pick up. Consumers are increasingly returning to the ways they used to shop, travel and work before the pandemic.
We just had the signature “Elevate” event last week. I want to give a big “Thank you” to all the volunteers, The Registry and other CREW Bay Area Chapters for putting together this virtual event. We appreciate all the hours the volunteers put into planning the event, the speakers were fantastic, great awards, and good networking sessions! Speaking of awards, please reach out to Joe Williams, Package Unit Pros and Daniel Mai, Novateck our very own CREW East Bay members who were both chosen as finalists for the “Elevate Award” which recognizes a man that empowers, inspires, mentors and/or sponsors women in the commercial real estate industry. CREW East Bay also celebrated the chapter’s “Most Valuable Member” (MVM) for 2020 which was given to Malinder K. Bhan, JP Morgan Chase for all of her contributions to our organization and the “Connector Award” for 2020 which was given to Pamela Pucci, Old Republic Title, she is an amazing connector.
